I did have this opportunity in my old building and didn't get everything I wanted, but here are a few things I asked for or got:

- I had monitors hanging on opposite walls

- I had asked for a divider that I could pull down the middle of the room so I could have the option of doing one large training group or two smaller groups.

- I had a dry erase board on wheels (it actually flipped to a cork board) so it could adjust to the set up of the room

- My tables were all on wheels so I could arrange the room based on the course or roll them out of the room all together if we were doing "auditorium" type seating

- I had outlets down the middle of the floor as well as along the walls

- I kept most of the walls free so we could hang our giant easel pads up as we took notes

- There was a monitor outside of the room that would rotate upcoming programming opportunities

- There was also a wall of fame on the outside wall with acrylic frames that held recent certification "certificates"

- Tech would have been my biggest item on my wish list.  Better audio for anyone joining remotely.  An easier, more consistent way to connect to monitors.

- I also wish I would have had a small cabinet with a few key supplies - post its, pens, highlighters, power strips.  All the things people either forget to bring with them or I wouldn't thing to grab until the morning of.

- Everyone also really disliked the chairs I had.  They didn't have arms to save space, but for a longer training that was uncomfortable.
