In last month's session "5 Coaching Power Words", we learned from the Center for Management & Organization Effectiveness that 80% of the time, the person you're coaching already knows where they need help.

Experienced clients may come with a number of assessments that can help inform their current state in a non-judgmental way. Or, we may discover there is work that needs to be done. Having a whole person assessment in your toolbox can be an invaluable tool for helping clients see the wider angle view and focus on 'first things first', to get meaningful results.

Heather Moster, leadership coach and strategic advisor, began implementing whole person assessment following her training at Duke Integrative Medicine, and she will share her learning with us. This month's workshop will cover the following:

  • "Going Wide" -- What is a whole person assessment?
  • "In the huddle" -- Why should we consider having a whole person assessment in our wheelhouse if we're executive or leadership coaches? A Brief Case Study
  • "3 Point Stance" -- A simple process to develop your own whole person assessment for your clients

In addition, Rhonda Pfaltzgraff-Carlson will be joining us to share information about the ongoing project that she is heading to develop a formal process for matching consultant and coach members with organizations that are seeking services from GCATD. She is seeking feedback and suggestions from internal and external coaches. If you have something to share, please attend.
